Breaking News: Suburban Superheroes convene at Nyack Beach to plan party honoring local social justice leaders. More at 11. You know what I love best about my job? Working with good people who are willing to give their time to help build the Pride Center. Moms, dads, artists, business owners, scientists, attorneys, activists, counselors, fitness experts, elected officials…the list goes on and on. It is awesome how many folks step up to the plate to volunteer and give. We have a powerful team working on our inaugural Pride Center Honors Ball scheduled for Saturday, October 14th at the Nyack Beach Bath House. (Our official Pride Ball Team is double the amount of people shown in this picture!) The theme of the Ball is, A Woodland Fantasy, so expect decor, costumed characters, and other surprises to be out of this world! We look forward to announcing our deserving honorees in the categories of pioneering, service, and business leadership in May. Sponsorship opportunities will also be made available. Stay tuned!
