Rockland Pride develops cutting-edge curriculum designed to support professionals at all levels to become more confident in meeting the needs of LGBTQ+ people. Past clients include Montefiore Nyack Hospital, the Rockland County Department of Social Services, Rockland Teacher’s Center, and Legal Services of the Hudson Valley.

The training team (whose members are drawn from the local LGBTQ+ community) weaves research data, anecdotal community experiences, and nationally recognized best practices into an approachable and strengths-based curriculum. Discussion and dialogue are encouraged to collaboratively develop actionable solutions and build confidence. It is also an opportunity for participants to build relationships with Rockland Pride as an ongoing local resource.

All trainings are conducted virtually via Zoom.

Rockland Pride’s team is also available for one-time and on-going consulting work. Examples of services we provide includes policy review and development, compliance with new laws, and responding to harm to build a safer and more affirming organizational culture.
