Rockland Pride’s LGBTQ+ Youth Program

Rockland Pride's LGBTQ+ Youth Program provides a web of community care and healing that centers the needs of our most vulnerable community members.

Through the careful cultivation of chosen family by our team, young people build strong and healthy relationships with each other, safe and affirming adults, and community leaders.

The program meets in-person twice a week during the schoolyear (days vary during the Summer), and provides hot meals, life skills development, mental health support, crisis intervention, advocacy, tutoring, material support, and a cutting-edge LGBTQ+ history and empowerment curriculum. Rockland Pride’s Youth Program is unique among similar programs in the area because it provides material support, engages in individual and long-term advocacy, and is built on Transgender leadership.
